On a Grey Day

Saturday felt like our first real fall day. It drizzled a little in the morning and was overcast/partly cloudy at least through the afternoon. I even wore a wool skirt and a jacket!

I wanted to share two paintings that I'll be putting up in the new shop. The first one you probably recognize from the digital image I showed you a bit ago. The two girls are happily reincarnated in acrylic on a wood plaque. It's funny, these two little paintings are so different in terms of color compared to my watercolors.

I'm really in love with this one:

I love her red wool dress and white knitted muff. And I like how she's out in the world, on her happy walk, alone but not lonely.

I wanted to put in writing that I'll be opening the shop by Tuesday, October 14th! I just need to set a date, you know?

& i can't wait to see the violet sweater once it's finished!
